Each week we will practice Math problems to prepare for a competition against other schools in the spring. During Coffee ECNA, students (HS ONLY) will brew coffee and socialize. Specifically, they will learn how to brew coffee through a variety of methods, accounting for the variables of coffee/water ratio, extraction time, water temperature, and grind size. They will taste fresh, light roast coffee from numerous geographical origins and learn to distinguish their regional characteristics.
